This laboratory is used by the Earth Processes and Environmental Flows (EPEF) group to conduct environmental and geophysical research experiments (e.g. fluid flow, sediment transport, morphodynamic) for both subaerial and submarine environments. The EFM Lab has several hydraulic flumes with recirculation systems for water and sediment. The EFM Lab has a state-of-the-art set of acoustic and laser instruments for laboratory and field measurements. The EFM Lab was built and is maintained by EPEF group members and CEE staff.
