Swanson School of Engineering students can go global!
How can you get started?
It's exciting but can also feel overwhelming as there are many choices available to you! We have many different ways for you to begin your research and select the program that is right for you!
Some things to consider:
- Is a semester or short-term experience right for you? Would research abroad be your choice?
- Do you speak a language? You can take engineering courses in English in many locations!
- Are you co-oping, interning or researching as well? When is the right time to fit this experience? Check out sample 5 year plans from other students in your major!
- Come speak to Swanson students who have studied/researched abroad! We have peer advisors and MANY other Swanson students who are ready to share their experiences. Join us for walk in hours or make an appointment with one of the team.
- Check out the basic requirements to participate in a global experience on our intranet site.
- Hear the voices of other students, faculty and alumni who have been a part of global experiences!
- Attend an info session or event to learn more!
- Check out what courses/programs other students have completed to fulfill major requirements in your department!
