Carlos Hurtado is a third-year Ph.D. industrial engineering student at the University of Pittsburgh. He received MS from the University of Pittsburgh and a BS degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad de los Andes (Bogota, Colombia). His research interests are in the areas of Multiarmed bandits problem, reinforcement learning, and social network analysis. He collaborates in the sociotechnical systems research lab under the supervision of Dr. Rahimian.
