Justin Fischgrund, P.E. is a Lecturer for the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Course in the Swanson School of Engineering.

In addition, Justin is the Owner & Principal of Fischgrund Consulting, a niche firm specializing in driving process improvement and technology strategy for organizations, to deliver solutions that customers love and businesses prosper from. Fischgrund Consulting provides versatile support to a diverse clientele, spanning large and small organizations in both public and private sectors, delivering operational efficiencies, integrating agile principles into daily operations & developing robust technology roadmaps.

Prior to this, Justin served as Director of Product Management & UX Design at BJ's Wholesale Club. In this role, he led the Product Management & User Experience (UX) Design Omni Channel & Order Management Technology organization, responsible for defining the roadmap and strategic vision for all experiences, once customers checkout on the website. Throughout his career, Justin has prided himself on leveraging the fundamentals of Six Sigma in all initiatives.

As for his background, Justin has served as an engineering & technology leader for the last decade, driving process improvement and cutting-edge, technology-driven solutions in a variety of industries, including Financial, Naval, Aviation, Railroad and Retail. Justin has led continuous improvement & large-scale agile software development initiatives resulting in re-engineering & revenue benefits exceeding $100 million. Justin has a bachelor's & master's degree in Industrial/Systems Engineering, Professional Engineering (PE) License in Industrial & Systems Engineering, and Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Certifications. Justin also holds a patent for a merchandise self service technology, which allows customers to understand inventory availability & request to try on, all without talking to an associate.
