Strategic Plan

The purpose of the 4-year technology plan is to provide a deliberate structure for technology management in a manner than optimizes the Swanson School's effectiveness at delivering technology services, platforms, resources and environments to our students, faculty and staff in their academic, research and industrial service activities. The Swanson School of Engineering (SSoE) Technology Group's mission reflects this focus. The Technology Group's vision is being realized now as a top tier technology services unit within the University of Pittsburgh and is leading in providing advanced technology resources for faculty, offering superior and effective learning environments for students, and ensuring technology alignment with industry partner needs.
