Resources for self-learning for parents and students

  • MIT OpenCourseWare (free): Recorded lectures and course material from thousands of MIT courses.
  • CodeAcademy (free): Coding classes in 12 different programming languages including Python, Java, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, SQL, C++, C#, and Swift, as well as markup languages HTML and CSS.
  • Khan Academy (free): Well-organized short video lessons on topics in math, art, computer programming, economics, physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, finance, history, and more
  • Scratch (free): A great tool to learn how to code and design computer games through a simple block-based coding language.
  • Arduino (paid): Hands-on electronics that are easy-to-use and can teach about electronics while you design creative projects.
