Vimanyu Chadha is a a second year PhD student studying shoe-floor topography.

Originally from New Delhi, India, Manyu did his undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi and then moved to the US in 2017 to pursue Master’s in Materials Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), where he did research on Geopolymer. Manyu joined the Jacobs Research Group in Fall of 2021 and started my research investigating the role of multi-scale floor roughness on shoe-floor friction.
