Next group member introduction is Ruikang Ding!
He is a PhD candidate from 2020 to 2025. Ruikang’s major is materials science and engineering, researching mechanical behavior of metal nanoparticles.
Ruikang started university of Pittsburgh in 2018 as a transferred undergraduate student. During that time, he met Dr. Tevis Jacobs and started a surface roughness characterization project. Ruikang's growing interest on research made him decide to continue working on Dr. Tevis’ group later as a PhD student where he works on in-situ TEM experiments to reveal mechanical behavior of metal nanoparticles.
