Acalog Catalog Updates
The University Catalog is the official repository for academic reference information. Updates to the catalog are required to be made annually for the upcoming school year. Publishing accurate catalog information is critically important as it acts both as a legal agreement with students and is used to pull in and publish data on the Swanson School website.
Please take some time to review the catalog information for your department or area and submit any changes to Mollie Henkel - mollie.henkel@pitt.edu (cc Erin English - erin.english@pitt.edu) by May 3rd.
Items to review:
- Are class/course descriptions up to date?
- Are requirements and descriptions for certificates, degrees, programs, and concentrations correct?
- Have discontinued classes/courses or other items been deleted along with references?
- Please do not include links to outside websites unless absolutely necessary. Outside content may change or disappear unexpectedly resulting in a permanent broken link that cannot be changed once published.
- Please list information for certificates, degrees, tracks, programs, concentrations, or other unique items as separate entries in the catalog. Listing multiple items on one entry/page does not allow outside links to target specific content, it prevents references from displaying properly, and hinders search engine results. This makes it harder for students to find specific information.
