Why you chose Pitt:
When choosing a college, I knew that I wanted an urban campus and Pitt’s was like no other school that I visited. It’s the perfect example of living in a city that’s very manageable and not super intimidating. Pitt also offers so many great benefits to its students- like free bussing on Port Authority buses!
Advice to a First Year Engineering Student:
Work hard in your classes and establish good study habits, but remember to relax and have some fun! There’s no use in being stressed out all the time and there’s always something interesting to do either on campus or throughout the city of Pittsburgh- take advantage of every opportunity!
Extracurricular involvement and Future Goals:
In addition to being an Engineering Ambassador, I am also a member of the Society of Women Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Club Cross Country, and love playing intramural soccer and volleyball with friends. Before graduating, I’d love to Co-op as well as have some type of international experience here at Pitt.
