Why you chose Pitt:
I’m from a very rural town and wanted to get out of state and have a change of scenery. Pitt’s urban campus along with the growing local tech and startup industries made coming here really desirable. Finally, the urban campus, extensive co-op program and the available research opportunities made Pitt my top choice school.
Advice to a First Year Engineering Student:
Don’t spend all your time stressing about grades. Although they are important, remember to get involved in clubs and organizations on campus, experience everything you can in Pittsburgh and have fun!
Extracurricular involvement and Future Goals:
Student Alumni Association, Material Advantage, Pitt Aero, Engineering Business Administration, Pitt Sports Analysis
I’d like to work in Additive Manufacturing in either the consumer electronics, automotive or aerospace industries
