Why I Chose Pitt:
I was first introduced to the University of Pittsburgh from a family friend, and after completing a tour of the campus and Swanson School of Engineering, I felt as though the school was a perfect fit for me. The school seemed to have a cooperative instead of competitive environment, and I felt as though it provided the necessary resources for me to succeed.
Advice to a First Year Engineering Student:
Take advantage of office hours offered by your professors . Going to office hours is a great way to meet your instructors, and hopefully form a bond that can help you throughout your time in college.
Extracurriculars and Future Goals:
I am currently the Philanthropy chair of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity, and am a member of the Co-Op program. I would like to become more involved in engineering clubs, and take advantage of Pitt’s study abroad program.
