Why you chose Pitt:
The University of Pittsburgh and Swanson School of Engineering has a proud tradition of excellence and provides me with every resource that I could need. The Pitt Engineering community within the greater university atmosphere provides a strong support system that is invested in my success as much as I am.
Advice to a First Year Engineering Student:
Enjoy the program and make new friends. There will be another 500 or so freshman engineers starting their journeys like you are, and sharing the experience with them in the classroom and in extracurricular activities will make it all the more enjoyable.
Extracurricular involvement and Future Goals:
Blue and Gold Society Ambassador, VP of Pitt Engineering and Business Administration, Vice President of Panther Hurling Club, Pitt ChemE-Car team. My future goals are to pursue a power concentration and work as a professional electrical engineer in the power or electric machinery.
