Why did you choose Pitt?
I loved the feeling of being in a city with an abundance of opportunities to take advantage of. Personally, the school feels smaller than the total number of students since the campus is pretty condensed and the green space around made it a win-win. Being 10 minutes from Steelers games is also an added bonus!
Advice for First-Year Engineering Students
Live in the moment and plan ahead. You are here to work hard and get a degree, but don’t forget to take time for yourself. The more work you can knock out the instant you get it, the more free time you will have. Keep moving forward, not back, and you will be successful.
