Long ago, I was born in Koriya, Chhattisgarh in India and completed my initial education as well as learned the basics of life there. Later, I completed my master’s degree in 2010 which helped me to develop my interest towards scientific research and I qualified for CSIR-JRF fellowship in 2012. With the help this fellowship I joined CSIR-Institute of Microbial technology, Chandigarh as a PhD student under the guidance of Dr Javed N. Agrewala and completed in 2018 by generating a DNA vaccine against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Under his supervision, I learned about immune system and their role in different pathologies. This made me more intrigued to commit myself towards immunological research. In 2019, I came to University of Pittsburgh and learned the basics of cancer immunology.
Apart from research I like to enjoy music and fun games with friends. Fun fact about me is that I like more wilderness than a big city.
