Our research focuses on surface, interface and nano-materials. On one hand, we investigate the fundamentals governing the various properties, e.g. mechanical, optical and tribology properties. On the other hand, we apply the learning on developing novel materials for applications in nanotechnology. LI lab has published peer-reviewed papers in high-impact journals such as Nature Materials, ACS Nano, Chemical Science, Chemical Communications, Journal of Materials Chemistry, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Carbon and Langmuir, highlighting the significance of our research.
