Research Interests

Our research focuses on synthetic biology, genetic engineering, robotics, and machine learning to create biohybrid robots and automated cell and tissue culture systems. Applications include therapeutics and systems for studying physiological principles. Other topics studied include microbiome-host interactions and microbial ecology.
