Hanie Eskandari is a Ph.D. student who joined the IE department in Fall 2019. She has a bachelor's and Master's degree in IE from the Sharif University of Technology in Iran. Now she is working with Dr. Lamperski on Parameter Calibration in Markov Chains. Her research is mainly about using Markov Decision Processes and optimization techniques in healthcare application.
