The mission of the Center for Faculty Excellence is to enhance the ability of tenure track faculty in the Swanson School of Engineering to navigate their tenure period - not just to manage it, but rather to exit this period with a foundation for continued academic excellence and leadership. The CFE remains dedicated to the professional development of these faculty into the associate professor level.
The CFE connects junior faculty with resources and provides activities that are highly integrated with all six departments of the SSoE, as well as other entities within the School, including the Dean’s Office, the Office of Research, the Engineering Education Research Center and the Office of Diversity.
