This project aims to develop a Tactical Urbanism/Demonstration Projects Guide which would help municipalities in Pennsylvania to perform tactical urbanism/demonstration projects. So far, a literature review of the relevant tactical urbanism/demonstration projects has been conducted. Additionally, the research team developed a way to categorize the Tactical Urbanism projects based on several different aspects. This effort will help users of the Guide better understand and describe projects’ contexts. The main structure of the Guide has been developed, and the Pitt research team is currently working on identifying and describing potential case studies in Pennsylvania and other nearby states (as needed).
