I received my BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pittsburgh in May 2025 and am currently completing my MS in Bioengineering with a focus in Medical Product Engineering. Alongside my studies, I work as a Biomedical Engineer in the Artificial Heart Program at UPMC, where I help support patients on mechanical circulatory support devices and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe and effective device performance.

I chose Pitt's MS-MPE program because of the strong integration of innovation and clinical exposure. The opportunity to learn directly from physicians, engineers, and designers has allowed me to build a skill set grounded in human-centered design and prototyping.

After completing my degree, I plan to attend medical school and pursue a career that allows me to work directly with patients while also contributing to medical device development and innovation. My ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between engineering and medicine to improve the design, usability, and accessibility of healthcare technologies.
