Bioengineering Department Awards Graduating Seniors
Congratulations to the Bioengineering Class of 2024! The department celebrated its graduates at a reception in the William Pitt Union on Saturday, April 27 and recognized 24 seniors for service, academic achievements, and leadership.
“I am extremely proud of this year’s cohort, particularly the awardees, as they are truly exceptional individuals in their own right,” said Arash Mahboobin, associate professor of bioengineering and associate chair for undergraduate education. “They are a source of delight to Pitt’s Department of Bioengineering, and we always feel so fortunate and privileged to watch these young individuals mature and excel as young engineers. It is an honor to have some influence on their development and progression as professionals and people.”
