A Night Dedicated to the Distinguished
As part of a 60-year tradition of recognizing outstanding alumni, the University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering hosted its annual Distinguished Alumni Banquet at the University Club on Wednesday, April 10. Hosted by Sanjeev G. Shroff, Interim U.S. Steel Dean of Engineering, and the School's Office of Philanthropic and Alumni Engagement, the dinner and award presentation honored alumni from each of the six departments and one for the School as a whole.
“I want to say how truly impressed my colleagues and I are with this year’s awardees,” Shroff said. “The breadth and depth of their collective accomplishments are truly inspiring, and a testament to the history of engineering at the University of Pittsburgh.”
