Partners

Pitt brings together the breadth of a leading research university, integrating the Center the Swanson School of Engineering, the School of Computing and Information, the Center for Energy, the Energy GRID Institute, and Institute for Law Policy and Security. This builds a portfolio of expertise in information and operational technology, power, grid engineering, energy science, nuclear energy, renewable energy, storage, photovoltaics, law and policy, AI and machine learning, energy-efficient computing, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure protection.

With this world-class expertise, the Center involves nearly thirty industry members in energy, operational technology, security companies and workforce development organizations. Our industry members, working with Center and Dept. of Energy leadership, will help define, direct, and participate in state-of-the-art research to create new technologies of value to industry. This research will address how we can better integrate information and operational technology to meet industry’s needs.
