Landslide Best Practices

The Landslide Best Practices Handbook was written to produce region-specific guidance for practicing geotechnical engineers and geologists who are engaged to mitigate adverse impacts from an active landslide or reduce the risk of landslide movement for infrastructure.  Best practice guidelines for the life cycle of a landslide mitigation response including approach, characterization, assessment and mitigation are presented.  A best practice framework for slope maintenance and slope management systems are also included.
