PITTSBURGH (April 14, 2016) … The University of Pittsburgh this week recognized four individuals and two organizations for making an extraordinary impact on campus sustainability at its second annual Pitt Sustainability Awards. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and coordinated by Pitt’s Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation, the awards honor those who have demonstrated an impact on sustainability through generating awareness, implementing projects or catalyzing new initiatives in education, research or practice.
