Shaina Patel
Shaina is a junior undergraduate student in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Medical Product Engineering. She joined the Sensorimotor Learning Laboratory in the summer of 2024. Her research focuses on understanding the influence of aging on our ability to remember a previously learned walking pattern, a pheonomenon known as “savings”.
Outside the lab, Shaina enjoys dancing and reading.
