Amber Costello

Amber is a senior undergraduate student in Bioengineering at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in Biomechanics. She joined the Sensorimotor Learning Laboratory in the spring of 2024, working on a project that quantifies the perception of leg speed differences during walking. Her research focuses on understanding whether an individual's perception of environmental changes influences the effects of interventions such as split-belt treadmill walking.

Outside the lab, Amber enjoys playing volleyball, reading thriller novels, watching shows, and exploring good food.
