Carson Hertrick

Carson Hertrick is a sophomore undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh, studying Mechanical Engineering. Through his studies, he has developed skills in multiple programming languages such as C, MATLAB, and Python, as well as proficiency in CAD modeling using SolidWorks. Carson now works as an undergraduate researcher in the Pitt’s Risk Analysis and Reliability Engineering (RARE) lab. He joined the lab because he wants to increase his knowledge of engineering outside of the classroom, while gaining interdisciplinary skills through risk analysis and reliability engineering research.
