Amir Shahriar Kalantari Oskoui

Amir Shahriar Kalantari Oskoui holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) and a Master's degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Tehran. Currently, Amir is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computational Modeling and Simulation at the University of Pittsburgh and joined the RARE Laboratory as a Graduate Research Assistant in September 2024. Amir’s research focuses on probabilistic risk assessment (PRA), where he is developing advanced computational methods to assess and manage risks and uncertainties in complex energy systems.

Throughout his academic journey, Amir has developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of engineering, with a specific emphasis on energy systems and computational techniques. Amir’s passion for research has led him to explore innovative approaches in risk assessment, aiming to contribute to the safety and reliability of critical infrastructures.

Amir is committed to interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous learning, which are essential for tackling the challenges of today's complex engineering problems. Amir’s goal is to leverage his research to make meaningful contributions to the fields of energy and risk analysis while continuing to deepen his knowledge of computational methods and their real-world applications.
