BioE Post-Doc: Ruder Lab
The Department of Bioengineering is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate in the Ruder Lab. The Post Doctoral Associate will conduct research on organ-on-a-chip/organoid engineering combined with microfluidics, robotics, and synthetic biology. It is expected that after a period of training, the candidate will be independent and take a leadership role in this position. The candidate will be expected to produce at least one first author peer-reviewed publication per year. All authorship on publications will strictly follow University rules and guidelines. The candidate will also be expected to actively participate in grant writing. It is anticipated that the candidate will have the opportunity to attend at least one professional meeting per year, as well as attend classes and other specialized training related to our ongoing research projects and career development.
A PhD in bioengineering or a related STEM field is required.
