Kamal Basulaiman is a candidate PhD student in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his MS degree in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and BS degree in industrial and systems engineering from KFUPM. His research interests are at the intersection of nonlinear optimization and deep learning with applications to power systems.
