The EERC is working to extend the innovations of the SSoE
and engineering education research into the K-12 classroom settings. As the
nation moves towards integration of engineering practices and content into the
K-12 science classrooms, we will work with the K-12 science and engineering
education community to research and enhance the teaching and learning of
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) across the learning
